At UNC Health Southeastern, we continuously strive to provide excellent customer service. The Customer Financial Services department at UNC Health Southeastern works to ensure that the billing process is as convenient as possible. To make the billing process simpler for you, we are starting to combine the bills you get from UNC Health Southeastern doctors and UNC Health Southeastern. This means that instead of getting separate bills from our doctors and hospital, the person responsible for paying the bill will get one billing statement that includes care from both our doctors and UNC Health Southeastern.

Some of the doctors you see at UNC Health Southeastern do not work for our hospital, so you will still get a separate bill from these doctors for care they provide. It’s important that you pay all bills that you get during this period of time.

UNC Health Southeastern's Medical Financial Assistance program provides financial assistance for qualifying patients who need help paying for emergency or medically necessary care they receive at UNC Health Southeastern, clinics or centers.
