Visiting Guidelines (subject to change)

  • UNC Health Southeastern has expanded visitation for the medical center, allowing two visitors at a time for non-COVID-19 patients while COVID-19 positive patients will be allowed one visitor per day.
    • One visitor is allowed for Emergency Department patients.
    • Laboring mothers are allowed two visitors, and two parents or legal guardians are allowed for minor patients. In both cases, one visitor will be allowed to remain with the patient after visiting hours have ended each day.
  • Visitors are required to wear a surgical grade face mask, which will be provided if necessary, instead of cloth masks or face coverings while inside UNC Health Southeastern facilities. The mask must be worn correctly, covering nose and mouth, with the metal nose piece conforming to the bridge of the nose. 

General Guidelines

  • All medical center visitors must be age 18 or older and are required to be screened, present a valid photo I.D.
  • All approved visitors must wear their visitor badge at all times.
  • If a patient wishes to limit their visitors in any way, please notify the nurse, patient representative or the main information desk.

Visitor Hours

General

  • 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Visitors may not enter the facility after 6:00 p.m. unless under special circumstances.  Effective Monday, March 14, visiting hours will be changing to 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Subject to change)

Behavioral Health

  • Family and friends of patients of the psychiatric unit, Third East, may visit from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. daily. All visitors are required to participate in a family orientation session prior to visitation, which begins at 4:30 p.m. daily.

WoodHaven

  • WoodHaven Nursing, Alzheimer’s and Rehabilitation Center allows visitation, daily, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Get Your COVID-19 Vaccine or Booster

Individuals who are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine, including a booster, may schedule an appointment for vaccines by calling UNC Health Southeastern primary care clinics direct or scheduling through the Call Center at 1-844-735-8864. COVID-19 Testing Sites

Rapid and PCR testing is available at Primary Care and Urgent Care clinics for patients who have symptoms.

Antigen and PCR testing is offered by physician referral only at Laboratory Drive-Through, 202 W. 27th Street, Lumberton, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Antigen test results available same day via MyChart. PCR test results are available 24-48 hours after collection via
