Occupational Therapy

The goal of occupational therapy at Southeastern is to assist the injured or disabled to better care
for themselves in regards to self care, work and leisure skills while addressing their orthopedic or neurological disabilities.

Occupational therapy Services Include:

  • Neurological dysfunction
  • Cancer rehabilitation
  • Hand therapy
  • Lymphedema therapy

Patients will need a prescription indicating the following:

  • "OT for head/neck lymphedema treatment"
  • Medical diagnosis

Treatments include:

  • Manual lymph drainage
  • Soft tissue mobilization and stretching
  • Kinesiotaping
  • Assist in obtaining compression garments
  • Patient/caregiver education for home management
