Medical Imaging

Medical Imaging uses state-of-the-art technology to provide the latest in diagnostic procedures, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), digital subtraction angiography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and computerized tomography (CT) total body scanning in addition to traditional x-ray exams. All imaging procedures are interpreted by board-certified physician radiologists.

Radiology

Southeastern Radiology Associates (SeRA) is an outpatient imaging center and its board certified radiologists evaluate imaging performed throughout all of UNC Health Southeastern’s imaging locations.

SeRA provides screening and diagnostic imaging services to the region. SeRA is the only Breast Center of Excellence in the region, and its Main Outpatient Center and Wellness Imaging Center are accredited by the American College of Radiology. Mammography services are also accredited by the Food and Drug Administration through the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA). Our hours are 8am-5pm – Monday thru Friday (and 8am-12pm on some Saturdays).
