Meet Family Nurse Practitioner Ramanda Hunt
Family Nurse Practitioner Ramanda Hunt has worked in the healthcare field for over 18 years, having spent the last 16 years serving her community as an Intensive Care Registered Nurse at UNC Health Southeastern.
She recently joined UNC Health Primary and Specialty Care at Pembroke. Her special interests include providing patient-centered care improving the health maintenance of patients in Robeson County and the surrounding regions while treating the whole person from a provider-patient standpoint.
Hunt earned an associates degree in nursing from Southeastern Community College in 2008. She completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2019 and a master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University in June 2022. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, specializing in family care and providing a wide range of family-focused health care services to patients of all ages.
“My goal is to build a trusting relationship with my patients as we discuss, plan, and choose treatments that will provide them with an outcome of ultimate well-being on a physical, mental, and spiritual level,” said Hunt.
A native of Robeson County, Hunt currently resides in Rowland, NC, and enjoys the outdoors, sporting events, traveling, church, and spending time with family.
