Vaccination appointments now open for scheduling
Any individual age 65 and older as well as healthcare workers who are interested in receiving a COVID-19 vaccine are encouraged to act now to schedule a vaccination appointment before the next phase opens as part of the NC DHHS vaccination guidelines.
Based on expected supply, UNC Health Southeastern will be administering vaccines through its vaccination clinics February 17, 19 and 20, as well as at a special event, co-sponsored by the Robeson United NAACP, planned for February 18 at the Robeson County Fairgrounds.
Those who are eligible and would like to schedule a first-dose vaccine appointment at a vaccination clinic or the vaccine event should email their name, date of birth and phone number to vaccine@srmc.org.
Patients need to bring their insurance card and a state-issued identification card such as a driver’s license. Patients are reminded to wear masks and practice social distancing as well as wear short-sleeved shirts to expedite the vaccination process.
