SeHealth’s Red Springs complex transitions to health center of RHCC
Officials with Southeastern Health and Robeson Health Care Corporation announced today that SeHealth’s medical complex in Red Springs will transition to a health center of RHCC.
RHCC plans to offer health care services in the facility early this fall and is in the process of evaluating options to re-open the fitness center once the Governor’s actions related to the closure of fitness centers due to COVID-19 are lifted.
Rehabilitation services will not continue at the complex, however, patients may transfer their physical and occupational therapy care to SeHealth’s Southeastern Carolina Complete Rehabilitation Center in Lumberton or Southeastern Rehabilitation Services Pembroke.
“It has been our honor to serve the citizens of Red Springs for many years for their health and wellness needs and are pleased that these services will be continued by RHCC, an organization that has a well-established network of rural health care centers throughout the region,” said SeHealth President/CEO Joann Anderson. “The continuing partnership between SeHealth and RHCC exemplifies the mission and vision of both organizations to further advance the health of the communities we serve through successful collaborations with like-minded agencies.”
SeHealth opened the Southeastern Lifestyle Center Red Springs, a 16,000-square-foot fitness facility, in 2002. In 2012, Southeastern Medical Clinic Red Springs, a combination of Johnson Medical Clinic and Red Springs Family Medicine, opened in its new 14,000-square-foot facility which included Southeastern Rehabilitation Services Red Springs.
Tim Hall, CEO of RHCC, stated, “RHCC is excited to have the opportunity to serve the wonderful town of Red Springs and surrounding areas with an attractive array of health care services. The options of what we will be able to do through the Red Springs facilities are numerous and include services such as primary health, behavioral health and discount pharmacy just to name a few. We are appreciative of this opportunity to expand our impact as Southeastern Health and RHCC continue to work together to provide the best health care to the people of Robeson County.”
