Cox elected president of Sandhills Healthcare Executives Forum
Southeastern Health Vice President and SRMC Chief Operating Officer Jason Cox was recently elected president of the Sandhills Healthcare Executives Forum (SHEF). Cox will serve a two-year term in his position with SHEF, which is the local chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and encompasses a 13-county region.
“I’m excited by the opportunity to serve as president of the Sandhills Healthcare Executives Forum for the next two years,” Cox said. “I’m also humbled by the opportunity to serve the region’s healthcare executives in their professional growth and development.”
Cox joined SeHealth in 2016. He earned a master’s degree in public administration from Bowie State University and a master’s degree in business administration from UNC Chapel Hill. Before coming to SeHealth, he served in management roles in health care for 14 years and spent several years in the United States military.
